Hi All!

My diode bridge short-circuited connecting AC to "-". The fuse got broken, obviously. But I also noticed the short circuit between the transistor terminals "1" on the picture.

The transistor itself is ok; the right leg is in the air. Capacitors and rest of the transistors also ok. So, it is something else on the board that shorts these terminals.

The question is: is it expected? Does anyone have a schematic of this part of the board? It would help to figure out the broken component.

Thank you in advance for help!

I wouldn't consider that short normal. If the bridge rectifier failed by shorting AC to "–", it likely stressed multiple components on the primary side, not just the fuse.
