Risk Assessment is one of those Grand Theft Auto V missions that feels more like a strange story than a routine side activity. Franklin Clinton stumbles into it in Vinewood Hills, where a yellow Labrador seems to guide him towards trouble. Players who enjoy collecting GTA 5 Accounts will recognise the appeal of this mission: it mixes a memorable character introduction with challenges that test timing, control, and nerve.

A Dog, a Tree, and Dom Beasley

The scene near the Sisyphus Theater is deliberately odd. The dog barks, Franklin somehow understands the message, and the trail leads him along a dusty path. There, Dom Beasley is hanging upside down from a tree, caught in his own parachute. Franklin cuts him loose and asks about the animal. Dom has no idea what he means. A moment later, the dog has disappeared. It is a quick joke, but it gives Dom's introduction a dreamlike quality that fits his careless attitude.

The First Test Takes Place Above Mount Chiliad

Dom barely has time to recover before he talks Franklin into another stunt. Jeff Chartier arrives in a Maverick helicopter, and the two men fly towards Mount Chiliad. Dom jumps first. Franklin follows, whether he looks ready or not. For the Free Faller medal requirement, stay in the air for at least seven seconds before opening the parachute. Do not rush the descent. Keep an eye on the landing area and make small adjustments rather than swinging wildly across the sky.

How to Handle the Mountain Race

After touching down, Franklin gets a Scorcher and lines up for a downhill race. The route is rough, with sharp bends, broken ground, and several natural launch points. The Big Air objective asks for two seconds of airtime, so use a larger ridge instead of forcing a jump on flat terrain. The Downhill King objective is more straightforward: reach the bottom before Dom. Stay fast, but do not throw away the race by hitting a rock at full speed.

Keep the bike pointed towards the trail after each jump.
Brake before tight corners, not halfway through them.
Use open drops for airtime and safer landings.
Watch Dom's line, but focus on your own control.

What Opens After the Finish

Dom is annoyed when Franklin wins, though he still treats the result as an invitation to do something even more reckless. He mentions another meeting at Los Santos International Airport, hinting at the activities that follow. Completing Risk Assessment also makes thirteen parachute jump locations available across Los Santos and Blaine County. That makes the mission worthwhile beyond its medal goals, especially for players who like exploring the map from above and building a collection of cheap GTA 5 Modded Accounts for different play styles.
